Wherever You Go

There are ads in this video (SORRY!) because of some weird youtube third party content thingy.

This is a music video that I made for Audrey Assad’s song “Wherever you go” (I don’t own the music, it’s not mine, the music belongs to Sparrow Records all rights reserved, etc…). This video is about two people responding to a call from God to a vocation to religious life. Unfortunately, my friend, whom most of you know as “Carmelitegirl789” was not able to provide special footage to this video due to technical problems, so I had to make due with some footage she had on her channel, hence the footage in the video ๐Ÿ™‚ But it turned out great! Thanks be to God. If you’re wondering why the video bounces back and forth between me and her, sunny and snowy, (if you haven’t already made a guess) it’s because our stories are some what paralleled almost identically, both in the video and in real life, and the video is meant to reflect that, so it’s kind of like we complete each others actions ๐Ÿ™‚ You can pretty much guess everything else.

This video is a slight digression from the funny videos I make; this is because I want to bring out the serious reality of responding to a vocation as a process of prayer, discernment, response and detachment. Oh yes, I also didn’t have a Franciscan Friar’s habit, so I had to make due with another set of robes ๐Ÿ˜€ (Real Franciscan Friars don’t have scapulars like it is in my video)…

Very special thanks to Franciscan Friary:
Who let me use the footage of the Poor Clare nun. ๐Ÿ˜€

And very special thanks to my friend Phoenix:
who has been a very great friend and companion on our journey to religious life as we both pursue a Franciscan vocation.
